Sustainability Has Never Been So Important!

The fashion industry is changing, with sustainability and transparency being at the forefront and it has never been so important. We here at Love Cherish are doing our very best to improve every aspect of the business from Eco-Friendly Materials, Recycled Materials, Sustainable delivery & so much more. While it is only the beginning of our journey of sustainability at Love Cherish, we want to keep you all updated every step of the way!

1. Sustainable Brands & Fabrics:

Like us, the majority of our brands and suppliers are looking into ways to be greener and more responsible for the products they produce! Now more than ever, we have a wide range of products made from 100% Recycled Polyester, Organic Cotton, ECONYL Regenerated Nylon and so much more. Brands we stock like: Dancing Leopard, Hope and Ivy, Ichi and more are working towards a more sustainable future and we are 100% on board! Shop our Sustainable pieces here.

2. Eco-Friendly Packaging:

Packaging is a huge part of our business here at Love Cherish with 100s of parcels leaving our Warehouse daily. This can lead to further damage to the environment so we wanted to make a change anyway we could. Early 2021, Love Cherish changed all their plastic packaging to bio-degradable packaging meaning that over time our packaging will decompose within 3-6 months which is much better and faster than standard plastic packaging. We have also added a resealable label on all mailer bags in the hope that customers will reuse our packing to prevent any further waste. 

3. Electric Vehicles for Delivery:

We are proud to say DPD deliver our orders daily to all our wonderful customers and just recently they announced their 1 Millionth Sustainable delivery with their electric vehicles - read the full article here.
