Fashion Trends for Spring 2021

Girls, we are super excited here at Love Cherish as first deliveries of our new Spring Summer 21 collection have started arriving in store. Having been in lock down for much of the past 12 months, more than ever we all need something to give us a lift this year and our Spring collection definitely doesn’t disappoint.

Relaxed Glamour

If you’re one of the thousands needing a serious mood booster, you’ll be glad to see that ‘relaxed glamour’ probably sums up Spring 2021 best; beautiful floaty, floral printed dresses and pleated skirts worn with hoodies or bomber jackets and trainers.  Shoulders go big, puffed and ruffled, while waists are cinched in with belts.

Pastel Shades of Spring

Nothing quite says Spring like those sorbet pastel shades, the colours of choice in jumpers and dresses this season. Mint green, soft lavender, soothing yellow, peony pinks or pale blues. With soft fabrics to match, sure to lift our spirits as we roll towards summer.

Monochrome Classics

Monochrome makes a comeback too, with chequered statement pieces or classic black and white stripes. For bags and accessories, it seems it’s yellow or blue, providing a pop of colour to jazz up any outfit. There’s so much to look forward to this season!

Take a Peek

You’ll see cut-outs in dresses like the cut-out in this fabulous Serena V-Back with Bow dress. Lace and netting details with crocheted skirts, jackets and capes, provide layering warmth while still providing a peek at what’s worn below (or not).

Oversized for Comfort

Oversized jeans and wide-legged trousers continue the trend for comfort with style this season, where designers seem to have been influenced as much by lockdown comfort as by the need to glam up and get out.

Get Ready for Glamour

On that note, we should mention sequins.  You’ll be seeing much more of these in the coming weeks too. Get ready for the glamour, girls!
